Piston vacuum pump applied to artificial stone industry

Piston vacuum pump principle are similar to rotary vane vacuum pump but the structure is different. Piston vacuum pump use slide valve mechanism to change the suction chamber volume, so it is also called slide valve pump.

Although it is an old pump, compare to the rotary vane pump, it is high working pressure (1pa), pumping large, works in harsh environments, durable and other prominent features. so it is widely used in vacuum smelting, vacuum drying , Vacuum impregnation, vacuum distillation and other industries.

We will introduce the application of piston pump in artificial stone.

Artificial stone production process and picture description is as below:

Under the recipe – the color plate – the system particles – with particles – mixing – palette – forming ingredients – mixing slurry – pouring slurry – vacuum – exhaust bubble – mold wax – from the mold and stacking – oven baking Baked – sand board – fill plate – with glue – inspection – storage.

Usually using piston vacuum pump technology to produce artificial marble, stone in the production of complete degassing ,to avoid the presence of stone in the shrinkage. The vacuum pump system is supported on a material press with two stone production lines to ensure the perfect appearance quality and structural integrity of the stone.
